Review: Queen Level Sun Scrub Mask

It’s no secret that I love a good facial scrub and when it comes to facial care, y’all should know that your girl does not play! I could go on and on about my teenage acne horror stories, but this time and just this time only I’ll spare you all the gory little details. Let’s just say it was not the best sight for a lack of better words. Blackheads, whiteheads, dark spots, scars – you name, I’ve been through it.

I’ve struggled with finding that one hands down Holy Grail product and I can say I have come pretty darn close with Queen Level Beauty Sun Scrub.

About Queen Level Beauty Scrub

“Queen Level Sun Scrub is made to correct dark marks and scars, remove impurities deep within the pores, and even skin tone leaving you with a smooth face, and bright complexion.”

When I received the scrub in the mail, I will say that I was intrigued by the packaging, but we all know the packaging wasn’t going to be the determining factor. The true test was the unboxing as well as trying the product on my skin. Initially, the product gives off a honey-like fragrance, which in my opinion was just the right amount of sweetness. I’m a smell person so if I’m not vibing with the smell it’s a no for me, but this certainly exceeded all my expectations.

As you can see from the swatches, the product is a thick thick thick consistency. I was slightly scared applying it on my face because I figured it would be so much work, but as I applied it with my brush it went on smooth and creamy like butter. First, I applied the scrub to damp skin, left on my face for 10 minutes, and gently exfoliated to rejuvenate skin. Shortly after that, I made sure to rinse, clean and pat dry resulting in seeing a significant difference.

  • Smells great (honey)
  • Ingredients include raw cane sugar and organic turmeric
  • Exfoliates skin
  • Gives a natural glow

  • A tad bit messy

Based on how my skin felt after this scrub, I would recommend it to a friend, my sisters, or even my mom. I felt an instant glow and I noticed that my face felt smoother.

Rating 8.5/10

Great review! I too endured troublesome skin growing up and still am experiencing the remnants of the horror. I am ready to make a change and feel confident about my skin. I’m considering ordering this product. Smell is definitely a factor for me as well. I trust your judgement. What products did you use after the 10 minutes to exfoliate? Help meee! Thanks for sharing!

I’m glad to hear you liked the review! The steps to feeling confident about your skin involves trying new products to see what truly works for you. It took me a long time to get there, but once you find that steady routine everything else will fall into place. After the 10 minutes, I used my fingers to scrub my face because the mask has small sugar particles that act as an exfoliant. I made sure to make my hands a little damp that way it was easier to work into my skin. I followed up with a water rinse and then applied raw shea butter to moisturize.
